LIBRARY JOB SEEKER SERVICES
Use your library card barcode number to log into Brainfuse JobNow for live online job coaching, resume assistance, or interview coaching every day from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM EST. Job seekers can also submit their resume to receive expert feedback, access free resume templates, and access a learning library with lessons on everything from high school equivalency exams to ASVAB!
Peterson's Career Prep provides job seekers with online tools to help you decide what career you're interested in pursuing, what skills and training will be required to pursue that path, and information on what you can expect from that career path. Peterson's Career Prep also has a resume builder and a virtual career library.
IN PERSON JOB SEEKER SERVICES
MassHire South Shore Career Center is a free resource for job seekers. Users can register online to access job postings, workshops, job fair events, and locate job training programs. MassHire South Shore Career Center runs weekly Zoom meetings to review current job opportunities every Thursday at 11:00 AM. The Quincy center is open for in-person assistance by appointment only, Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The Plymouth center is open for in person assistance by appointment only on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Call (617) 745-4000 to schedule an appointment.
The MassHire Greater Brockton Career Center provides in person assistance by appointment. Call (508) 513-3400 to schedule an appointment to attend an orientation training or utilize their state-of-the-art resource room staffed by experienced professionals. The resource room is free for members to use and contains computers, reference books, a printer, a fax machine, links to job hunting sites, adaptive technology for job seekers with disabilities, and more.
The Training Resources of America, Inc. Brockton location offers programs in adult basic education, Employment Prep/Comprehensive Integrated Employment Services (CIES), English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and more. The Adult Learning Center in Brockton offers a wide range of classes for adults in literacy, High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) prep, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), United States Citizenship, and IT essentials. Classes are free of charge and students from Brockton and the surrounding areas are eligible to enroll.

CareerOneStop is an online resource sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor that provides job seekers with resources to explore careers, find training, plan their job search, find local resources, compare salaries, and more!
Hloom provides free Microsoft Word templates for resumes and cover letters. Job seekers can easily build a resume by filling out the required fields and then download it to their own device or cloud service.
JobHero is also a resume and cover letter builder but it also has job descriptions that list the common responsibilities, skills, and qualifications for a variety of industries.
